BetterThan College wasn't born in a boardroom. It started with a simple observation: the traditional path isn't working for most people, and the alternatives aren't good enough.
The Founder's Story
I've spent my career building businesses and leading teams in AI, automation, and digital transformation. I've hired hundreds of people. And I've watched the same pattern repeat itself over and over.
Bright, motivated people show up with degrees and no practical skills. They spent four years and six figures learning theory that's already outdated. They can write a research paper but can't manage a project. They can pass an exam but can't build something a customer would pay for.
Meanwhile, the people who skipped the traditional path - the builders, the self-taught, the ones who figured it out by doing - they were running circles around the credentialed crowd. The system was backwards.
So I asked: what if someone built the program that college should have been? One that's led by practitioners, not professors. One that produces portfolios, not just transcripts. One that costs what it's actually worth and takes only the time it needs.
That's BetterThan College. And the founding cohort launches in Philadelphia, September 2026.
